Asscher diamonds are a type of diamond cut that was first introduced by the Asscher Brothers of Holland in 1902. This particular diamond cut has a distinctive and unique design, featuring a stepped square shape with cropped corners and a high crown. The Asscher cut is similar to the emerald cut, but with more facets, giving it a higher level of brilliance and fire. Asscher diamonds are typically cut from high-quality rough diamonds because their cuts are so clear you would be able to spot even the smallest of imperfections. For us, we love how classic and even the shape feels! Our client did as well. We went with a slim, minimal bezel that really accentuated the cropped corners. We added a touch of milgrain detail to the interior rim of the bezel for a little extra visual sparkle. It draws your eye in from afar. You won't know what you're looking at until you come in close, but you know you love it even from a distance.
